Steve Benjamin Mayor Elect Columbia, SC

Steve Benjamin has been elected the next Mayor of Columbia, SC, and therefore, becoming the city's first new leader in 20 years.  Benjamin defeated his rival in the race, Kirkman Finlay III, in Tuesday's runoff.  At his victory speech Tuesday night Benjamin said, "The people of Columbia spoke and together, we made history. We are one Columbia, one Columbia."
